PetMyDear Terms and Conditions
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Cloudain LLC governing your access to and use of the PetMyDear app, website, and related services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Cloudain LLC, the operator of PetMyDear ("Cloudain," "PetMyDear," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms govern your access to and use of the PetMyDear mobile application, the PetMyDear website, pet-management features, subscriptions, content, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, selecting "I agree," purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the PetMyDear Privacy Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the applicable minimum age required in your country, to create a PetMyDear account. If you are under the age of legal majority in your location, you may use PetMyDear only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
By using PetMyDear, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement, have legal capacity to agree to these Terms, or have a parent or guardian who has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf. PetMyDear is not intended for children under 13.
2. Your Account
Certain PetMyDear features require an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information;
- Maintain current account information;
- Protect your login credentials;
- Maintain reasonable security over your device;
- Avoid sharing access with unauthorized persons;
- Notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access;
- Accept responsibility for activity occurring through your account, except where prohibited by law.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account. We may request reasonable verification when investigating account access, privacy requests, suspected fraud, or security incidents.
3. Purpose of PetMyDear
PetMyDear is a pet-care organization and information service. Depending on the available features, PetMyDear may help users:
- Create and manage pet profiles;
- Record vaccinations and medications;
- Store pet photographs and documents;
- Create feeding and care routines;
- Schedule reminders;
- Record veterinary visits;
- Maintain pet-related notes;
- Organize insurance or identification information;
- Review general pet-care information.
Features may differ depending on your device, subscription, country, app version, or marketplace.
4. No Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship
Not veterinary advice
PetMyDear is not a veterinary clinic, veterinarian, animal hospital, pharmacy, emergency service, or professional medical provider. Using PetMyDear does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
Information provided through PetMyDear is intended for general informational and organizational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, a veterinary examination, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, emergency care, or advice from a qualified animal-health professional.
Do not disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking veterinary care because of information displayed by PetMyDear.
5. Emergencies
PetMyDear is not an emergency-response service. If you believe that an animal is experiencing an emergency, poisoning, severe injury, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, seizures, uncontrolled bleeding, or another urgent condition, immediately contact a licensed veterinarian, emergency veterinary hospital, animal poison-control service, or an appropriate local emergency service.
Do not wait for an app notification, recommendation, support response, or automated output.
6. Accuracy of Pet Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information entered into PetMyDear. PetMyDear does not independently verify a pet identity, medical record, vaccination status, medication information, dosage, appointment information, insurance information, veterinary instruction, or uploaded document.
Always compare information stored in PetMyDear with the original veterinary instructions, medicine packaging, prescription, vaccination certificate, or other authoritative record.
7. Reminders and Notifications
PetMyDear may provide reminders for medications, vaccinations, appointments, feeding, grooming, or other activities. Reminders are convenience tools only.
Delivery may be delayed or prevented by device settings, disabled permissions, battery-saving settings, lack of internet access, operating-system restrictions, incorrect time-zone settings, service interruptions, uninstalled or outdated software, or third-party notification failures.
You remain responsible for all pet-care schedules, medication administration, veterinary appointments, and other obligations, whether or not a notification is delivered. Do not rely solely on PetMyDear for time-sensitive or medically important tasks.
8. User Content
"User Content" means information or materials that you submit, upload, create, or store through PetMyDear, including pet profiles, photographs, documents, notes, care records, reviews, messages, feedback, and other submitted materials.
You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Cloudain a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and technically modify User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, synchronize content across devices, create backups, deliver requested features, provide support, protect the Service, and comply with law.
This license ends when the relevant User Content is permanently deleted, except for temporary backup copies, legally required records, or content that has been lawfully shared outside your private account. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload your User Content.
9. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use PetMyDear to:
- Violate any law or regulation;
- Harm, threaten, harass, or exploit another person;
- Promote or facilitate animal cruelty;
- Upload content that violates privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- Upload malware, malicious code, or harmful files;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- Attempt to access another user account or data;
- Probe, scan, or test the Service without authorization;
- Circumvent authentication, rate limits, subscriptions, or security controls;
- Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- Scrape, harvest, or extract information through automated means without written permission;
- Use the Service to develop a competing dataset, model, or product;
- Misrepresent affiliation with Cloudain or PetMyDear;
- Use PetMyDear for unlawful commercial solicitation;
- Submit false reports or fraudulent payment claims.
We may investigate suspected violations and restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary.
10. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, PetMyDear and its associated software, source code, object code, application design, user interfaces, logos, names, graphics, illustrations, text, databases, documentation, compilations, Service features, and trademarks are owned by Cloudain LLC or its licensors.
Subject to these Terms, Cloudain grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PetMyDear for lawful personal use. No ownership rights are transferred to you. PetMyDear, associated logos, and related branding may not be used without written permission.
11. Feedback
You may provide suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback about PetMyDear. You grant Cloudain permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission. This section does not transfer ownership of your private pet records, photographs, or other User Content.
12. Free and Paid Features
PetMyDear may offer free features, trial features, one-time purchases, monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, promotional access, or other paid services. Prices, billing intervals, trial periods, and included features will be presented before purchase. Paid plans may vary by country, marketplace, platform, or promotional offer.
13. Subscriptions and Renewals
Where a subscription automatically renews:
- The renewal terms will be displayed before purchase;
- Your marketplace account may be charged at the beginning of each billing period;
- The subscription continues until cancelled;
- Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period;
- Deleting the app does not automatically cancel the subscription;
- Deleting your PetMyDear account may not automatically cancel marketplace billing.
You must manage marketplace subscriptions through the Google Play, Apple, or other account used for the purchase. You should cancel the subscription before deleting your PetMyDear account when continued marketplace billing is possible.
14. Trials and Promotions
Trials or promotional offers may be subject to additional eligibility requirements. Unless otherwise disclosed, trials may convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period; a payment method may be charged unless the trial is cancelled before expiration; trials may be limited to one per user, household, payment method, or marketplace account; and promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn as permitted by law.
15. Payments and Refunds
Payments made through Google Play, Apple, or another marketplace are processed by that marketplace. Refund eligibility is generally determined by the marketplace rules, applicable consumer law, and any refund terms shown at purchase.
Cloudain does not control marketplace payment processing, authorization decisions, currency conversion, taxes, or refund timing. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Taxes
Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on your location and marketplace. You are responsible for applicable taxes except where the marketplace or Cloudain is legally required to collect and remit them.
17. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information are described in the PetMyDear Privacy Policy: https://petmydear.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
18. Account Deletion
You may request deletion through the app at Profile or Settings > Account > Delete Account, through the website at https://petmydear.com/delete-account, or by emailing support@petmydear.com.
Deleting an account is intended to be permanent and may result in permanent loss of pet profiles, photographs, documents, reminders, care records, notes, preferences, and other User Content. You are responsible for downloading or recording information you wish to preserve before submitting a deletion request.
Certain limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
19. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using PetMyDear at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, a security risk, illegal conduct, harm to PetMyDear, users, animals, or third parties, non-payment, a legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service.
Where appropriate, we will attempt to provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, animals, systems, or legal interests. Termination does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription unless the marketplace confirms cancellation.
20. Third-Party Services
PetMyDear may interact with third-party products or services, including authentication providers, cloud providers, app marketplaces, payment processors, notification providers, email providers, analytics services, veterinarian or pet-service websites, and external links.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Cloudain is not responsible for an independent third party's content, availability, security, products, services, or conduct.
21. Changes to the Service
We may add, remove, or modify features; correct errors; update technical requirements; introduce usage limitations; change free or paid offerings; or discontinue all or part of the Service. We will provide notice where required by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available or work on every device, operating system, marketplace, or location.
22. Service Availability
We work to make PetMyDear reliable, but the Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network failures, cloud-provider outages, app-store issues, security incidents, or events outside our reasonable control. PetMyDear is provided through internet-connected technology and cannot be guaranteed to operate without interruption or error.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Cloudain disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, error-free operation, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that information in PetMyDear is medically accurate for a particular animal; reminders will always be delivered; the Service will prevent missed appointments or care activities; uploaded information will satisfy veterinary, insurance, licensing, or regulatory requirements; the Service will be compatible with every device; or every defect will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent legally permitted.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cloudain LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the Service, including losses involving data, reminders, profits, business interruption, goodwill, device problems, reliance on general pet-care information, or acts or omissions of third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloudain's total aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of: (1) the amount you paid to Cloudain for PetMyDear during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (2) USD $100.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including certain liabilities involving fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or statutory consumer rights.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cloudain LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses resulting from your unlawful use of PetMyDear, your material violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person's rights, User Content that you were not authorized to submit, or fraudulent or malicious activity through your account.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Cloudain's own unlawful conduct, negligence, or breach of these Terms.
26. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights in your country, legal proceedings concerning these Terms or PetMyDear will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California. You and Cloudain consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising rights or using a dispute forum that cannot legally be waived under the laws of the consumer's state or country.
27. Resolving Concerns
Before commencing formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally. Send a written description of the issue to support@petmydear.com and include your name, account email, a description of the concern, relevant transaction information, and the resolution you are requesting.
This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief where necessary to protect safety, privacy, security, or intellectual-property rights.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect new features, changes to the Service, legal developments, security requirements, changes to subscriptions, or business operations. We will publish the revised Terms and update the Last Updated date.
Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes apply. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
29. General Provisions
Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Cloudain regarding PetMyDear, except for additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or removed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
No waiver
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission. Cloudain may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service.
Headings
Section headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
No third-party beneficiaries
Except where expressly stated, these Terms do not create rights for third parties.
